A properly designed greenhouse can become a real asset to an educational facility, its staff and students. GrowTech© Greenhouses are unique because the construction is made to the same specifications as the surrounding architecture.  Architects appreciate the ability to “design” a functional greenhouse that is not only up to code, but aesthetically matches buildings in the area or even directly attached to the greenhouse.

Most educational greenhouses are not true production greenhouses and our primary goal is to help architects  create a place for plants to flourish and a comfortable learning environment for students. We are also a single source supplier. This allows us to deliver a very hi-quality product at comparable cost to traditional greenhouse suppliers.

Hi-performance insulated FULLY TEMPERED safety glass with SilverCoat E-366 (designed for people & plants) with laminated inboard light.
  • Significantly reduces energy costs.
  • Reduces temperature fluctuations
  • Allows 66% daylight transmission to allow plants to flourish
  • Significantly reduces solar heat gain which allows the space to become an effective teaching environment
  • Reduces the size of heating and ventilation equipment
  • No mildew and mold build up from lapped glass style applications
  • Does not yellow or get brittle with age like plastics
  • Overall better appearance than plastics
  • Blends better with other surrounding buildings
  • 20 year warranty against glass seal failure
  • Extremely strong, rarely being broken to reduce maintenance costs
  • If broken, tempered glass with not become a safety issue

Insulated, Ultra Clear, FULLY TEMPERED safety glass (low iron content designed for maximum plant growth) with laminated inboard light. (Recommended for Level IV Greenhouses)
  • Best glass for maximum plant growth while still providing good energy efficiency as compared to single pane glass
  • No mildew and mold build up from lapped glass style applications
  • Does not yellow or get brittle with age like plastics
