About this Project
The State University of New York (SUNY) is one of the largest systems of higher education in the United States. With satellite campuses reaching Washington DC, SUNY has over 465,000 enrolled students and over 1.1 million adult education students.
When it came time to update the Physical Education department of the SUNY campus located in Purchase NY, Crystal Structures was chosen to build the massive 23′ x 152′ metal-framed ridgelite covering the main hall. The skylight adds ample daylight to the multi-story atrium which has the university logo at its focal point.
